The commission has conducted an outreach program to help the displaced Indigenous Peoples (Higaonon Tribe) from Agusan del Sur currently living in Sitio Rampa, Kaanibungan, Kalabugao, Impasugon-ong, and Bukidnon. Fr. Crisanto Aninloy, the head of the Commission, is a lumad himself.
In 2021, PIA's grant of $500 was able to provide food and assorted goods to the community.
