​Child Alert Mindanao

Child Alert Mindanao supports vocational and technical training for 262 at-risk youth while attending high school or college. 

Child Alert Mindanao is a consortium of several non-governmental organizations to address issues confronting children in Davao City. It seeks to activate barangay councils to protect children and conduct psychosocial activities among children and their parents. In Davao City, many street children have adopted anti-social behaviors to cope with hard times. Most are victims of domestic violence and engage in substance abuse and street disturbances.

In 2021, PIA provided $6,000 in COVID aid for the purchase of food and hygiene packages.
