Association Compassion Asian Youth (ACAY) ACAY is a non-profit, humanitarian service organization catering to youth at risk. This initiative is under the aegis of the Missionaries of Mary, an international Catholic movement based in the Philippines.

PIA’s grant provided educational assistance to many students, among them, Betcieva Garcia from Philippine Normal University with a BS in Education and Ronald Marcial from Eulogio Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology with a BS in Industrial Technology.
Kanlungan as Er-Ma Ministry, Inc.
PIA has supported Kanlungan by providing educational assistance to children who are in elementary, high school and college levels. Assistance includes providing tuition fees, uniforms, school shoes, school projects, daily allowances and other school needs.
The Kanlungan social workers monitor the students’ performances in school and coordinate with their respective teachers and schools. They also help with tutorial lessons. The parents and children under the after-care program meet the social workers every month to discuss the progress and problems of the children and the families. Seminars are conducted on responsible parenting and other relevant topics for the children.
Alay Kapwa Daycare Program Founded in 1979 by five Good Shepherd sisters,
Alay Kapwa Christian started as a response to the needs of the
urban poor in Leveriza, Malate.
These needs fell into four areas: education,value formation, income
and aid (medical, calamity). From its first deep well project in
Leveriza 25 years ago, it has grown to support over 900 children in
educational grants and assistance, 320 children in daycare,
400 in livelihood projects and over 3,000 in other aid programs.
The daycare program is one of the corner stones of Alay Kapwa’s
services and has proven successful for over 18 years in ensuring that
are better prepared both intellectually and nutritionally in meeting the
demands of the formal school system. PIA’s grant covers educational
and nutritional expenses for the children.
Blessed Elena Academy
A grant from PIA subsidizes the free tuition, dental and library expenses for poor children aged 14 years old and above.
Catholic Ministry to Deaf People, Inc.
PIA's grant provides educational assistance to hearing-impaired children enrolled in various special schools in Manila.
Catholic Ministry to Deaf People, Inc. (CMDPI) also promotes holistic development of the scholars through seminars and workshops and raises awareness of the parents and encourages them to be more proactive in the care of their deaf children. In addition, CMDPI advocates for issues affecting the hearing-impaired.
Good Shepherd Convent’s Teaching Street Children to Love
PIA provides educational assistance to children living under the C-5 bridge, Escopa and in the cemetery in Barangka, Marikina.
An additional grant repaired the roof where the children hold their classes.
